Wording Your Save the Date

-

Save the date’s are cards sent out around 9- 12 months before your wedding notifying guests of the date so that they can mark it on their calendars, allowing them to start to make travel, accommodation, holiday or childcare arrangements if they need to. In terms of etiquette and wording, save the dates are a lot less formal than the main invitation so you don’t need to include as much information as you will when it comes to doing the main invitation and couples will often put their wedding website/ email on to the save the date. Below are a few examples of how your save the date could be worded.
